The central train station in Munich is called the München Hauptbahnhof. It is one of the three long distance train stations located in Munich.  The other two stations are München-Pasing and München Ost.

The Munich central train station is a main hub for the cities subways (U-Bahn) and commuter trains (S-Bahns).  Transfers between the Munich Airport and the central train station are therefore convenient.
